Super Mario World cartoon now on DVD.

DVD UPDATE:
As of Nov. 13th, (Sorry, I'm once again late, I'm sick) the final Mario series DVD
"Captain N & the New Super Mario World" [link] from 1991 is finally in a 2 DVD boxset.
;) (Just in time to add to your Christmas list.)
Look for it in Best Buy, Target, Amazon.com, or other places.

The set features all 13 eleven-minute episodes of the short-lived Mario show, and will be paired with the 7-episode third, and final season of "Captain N: The Game Master."
The special features are pretty lackluster, just some character sketches of Yoshi, a storyboard-to-screen comparison of the opening, along with an option to watch just one of the shows, in case you don't wish to watch them together.

BTW Captain N fans, in case you arn't aware, the previous 2 (better) seasons to Captain N series are together on a seperate 4-disk boxset also now availible. (Incorrectlly billed as "the complete series," I must add.)
And also coming in early December for Mario/Sonic fans a special "SMB3" & "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" [link] cartoon combo DVD set will be availible for those that don't already own them.
("Sonic Underground" comes to DVD as well in mid-December, Sonic fans.)

Now with the "Super Mario Bros. Super Show" Volumes 1 & 2, and "Adventures of Super Mario 3" boxsets all of the Mario cartoons are availible on DVD. Go buy them now!
(With of course the exeption of the obscure Japan-onley Mario anime videos, and the "Donkey Kong" segment of the 1983 "Saturday Supercade Show." I won't expect these long-forgotten gems to come to DVD anytime soon.)

Odd, the songs in "Toddler Terrors" "Rein Storm," and "The Beauty of Kootie" weren't edited out of the "King Koopa Katastrophe" single-disk DVD released 2 years back.
Were any of the other unoriginal songs edited out of the SMB3 DVD set?
(I meen the songs made by famous proformers & such, the songs that weren't exclusive to the show, like "Slippin' and Slidin'" and "Great Balls of Fire")

I have the DVD Set and the only episodes that were edited Toddler terrors of time travel I have no idea why, cause they are singing Baby chase not baby face,and is replaced by Megamove Reign storm girls just wanna have fun was replaced with an insrtumental version of Megamove again. you will hear the song by clicking the link at the end of this post and The Milli Vanilli one is badly edited 16 seconds is cut off at the end Instead of Mario saying maybe our band could be that popular it shows the princess clapping her hands with megamove again playing as the curtain closes. why couldn't they use the one with the singing it would of went better with the Milli Vanilli Concert part.

As I recall the SMBSuper Show came out in 1989, wich was less then 20 years ago acctually. Still a long time though. (I was onley 5)

And I agree most newer shows just arn't as cool.

I am a BIG fan of the Mario Bros. show since I was 6, and that was 20 years ago! I have the first volume, but I also plan to get the second as well! I love it a lot!

Also, Len Carlson the voice of Ganon in the Zelda cartoon also provided the voice of Klump (I think he did Cranky Kong as well, I'm not sure) in the DKC show to.
