Contest Update :
Sence I've gotten diddly squat subbmissions for the contest, I've decided to wait and not put up a end date for the contest until somebody acctually something... If I don't get any submissions for this contest soon, I will personally cancel it.

That's right, I'm finally holding our club's first contest! The contest is... Make us a new ID picture!

The winner's most voted on pic (Voting will start when we get enough entries, more details when that day arrives.) will become our new ID pic! And the winner will also get a free request from one of the artists of their choice.
(Whomever wants to offer a request as a prize to the winner, feel free to. I need artists to offer that now.) Nothing dirty, please.

The original Donkey Kong cartoon (with Mario & Pauline) is on Youtube!
The 1983 short cartoon was shown on a TV series called "Saturday Supercade," wich was produced by Ruby Spears, wich featured many cartoon shorts based on popular video games at the time like Q*Bert, and Pitfall Harry. Technically, this show marked Mario's first appearence in a cartoon, but Mario didn't technically get his own series until the "Super Mario Bros. Super Show" in 1989.
A li'l trivia to : In the Saturday SuperCade show, Mario's voice was done by Peter Cullen whom is famous for voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers.
DK was done by Soupy Sales whom was famous for doing old timey TV kiddy shows, and such.

= Donkey Kong is tricked by two Cajun hoolagans to swipe an emerald. Can Mario & Pauline stop him, and the hoolagans? Will DK come to his senses, and help?

= A neer-sighted woman loses her glasses, and falls for our beloved big ape, while Mario & Pauline continue their persuit to bring DK back to the circus. (Wich they do the entire series, pretty much, with DK always escaping in the end.)
